Efficient cleaning
The first picker is always considered as the ‘attack’ picker. In general, this first picker is setup to remove 60% of the feathers. The removed feathers clog together in the picker and are leaving the picker on the bottom. The first picker is also the first machine in the line that applies a lot of pressure on the product. With applying pressure for the first time, it can come to faecal excretion in some products. By applying Undine on the first picker, the dirt and feathers will be removed more effectively, it helps bringing the feathers out of the picker using less water. It removes the feathers from the picker, helps keeping the pickers cleaner and makes defeathering more effective. This way the pickers can be adjusted in a more optimized way, because the first picker can work more effectively, less loose feathers (lower load) in the subsequent pickers. Your picking fingers stay cleaner. And the water pollution from adhering water is immediately removed and can no longer be smeared into the pores and feather follicles. (hot water) on the pickers is used more efficiently whilst having an improved picking result.
