Inside/outside cleaning on cool shackles

A drag through cooling is a water tank with its own bacterial load. The starting load is determined by the quality of the cleaning and that of the water. And during the production day dirt from products is collected in the water such as bacteria and residual dirt like proteins, fat, blood particles and other product parts.

Cleaning during the evisceration process, brings cleaner products into the immersion chiller bath and keeps bacteria load in the immersion chiller bath low. This improves product quality and (when applicable) reduces chlorine usage or can even eliminate the need for it. IWC has developed a washer for this application compatible with the cooling shackles. This unit is installed after the drag through cooling tanks and can rinse off any attached bacteria and polluted water for both the inside and the outside from your product.

A great advantage is that these positions do not consume extra water because the water can simply be used as replenishment water in the first tanks. This inside/outside bird washer is specifically designed for cleaning birds on cooling shackles. This way you can always achieve a perfect cleaning. Even if you do not have enough space in the evisceration department to install an inside/outside bird washer. Furthermore, the microscopic water droplets of the Undine® also enable faster cooling of the products.

Do you only want to clean the chickens from the outside? Take a look at the PL028. Would you like an extra cleaning of the neck skin of the chickens? Then PL030 is ideal. PL034 is perfect for cleaning the cooling shackles themselves.
